The vaping and personal vaporizer market requires aluminum extrusion profiles that deliver a premium handheld feel, precise dimensional fit for internal component assembly, reliable performance under repeated thermal cycling, and surface quality that supports high-end consumer aesthetics.
Our vaping device extrusions are primarily produced in 6063 and 6061 alloys, achieving tensile strength ≥240 MPa and yield strength ≥190 MPa. These alloys provide the right balance of structural integrity, thermal stability, and surface response for anodizing, which is the dominant surface treatment in this product category. Wall thickness control is critical in vaping device profiles—internal cavities must accommodate heating elements, battery cells, and electronic modules with tight tolerances while maintaining a structurally sound outer shell.
Thermal performance is a key design consideration. Profiles are engineered to manage heat transfer from the heating chamber, preventing surface temperatures from exceeding comfort limits during normal operation while maintaining the structural integrity of the aluminum at operating temperatures. Resistance to condensate and cleaning fluid exposure is also addressed in alloy and treatment selection.
Post-extrusion processes include precision CNC turning and milling for thread cutting and end-cap fitting, Type II and Type III anodizing in a full range of colors, laser engraving, and polishing. We support custom outer diameter, internal channel geometry, and end treatment specifications. Production runs accommodate both boutique short-run quantities and high-volume supply requirements.
